Mother’s Day Brunch At Mestiza Taqueria SF
“Mestiza means a woman of mixed culture or heritage in Filipino.
The concept of Mestiza Taqueria was created and influenced by the Filipino roots of owner Deanna Sison Foster.”
This past weekend my family and I were invited to celebrate Mother’s Day at Mestiza Taqueria in San Francisco, a Mexican x Filipino x Cambodian Fusion! Yep...what dreams are made of.
Brunch Menu- Weekends 10:30a-2:30p
Donnie had their Jungle Juice Mimosa and I had their Mango Margarita, all with house-made juices.

Appetizers include chips & salsa AND lumpia. We had both of course. They also brought us some Malasadas, which are island style donuts with what tasted like a caramel sauce with turmeric...I could be wrong, but it was delicious either way.

The Food
I had Carlos' Cochinita Taco Plate. Donnie had the Silog Bowl with flank steak. The twins had their French toast, and they made a special order of pork, eggs, and rice for the Don. You can check out my story highlights on IG to see how everyone loved their food!

As you can see from the pictures, the food speaks for itself. I can’t wait to go back and try their general menu. Some dishes include ceviche, adobo empanadas, lechon, and sweet plantains YUM!

Indoor/Outdoor Seating and Patio Bar
If you know me or follow me on social media you know I was loving the Jungalow themed decor. There were plants and cacti everywhere! I was definitely feeling the vibe. There was indoor and outdoor seating on the patio, with the occasional live band I hear. I’d love to come back (adults only lol) to listen to some music and have margaritas.
